Hulu is expanding its reality universe. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will premiere November 12, carrying over Jen Affleck from the original series and dropping her into a new cast of influencers and young mothers. The streamer announced the premiere date Tuesday with a short tease: “New wives, new secrets. 🍊”

The Orange County lineup is stacked with familiar online names. The cast includes podcast host Bobbi Althoff, YouTuber Madison Bontempo, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Chandler Higginson and Ashleigh Pease. McCall DaPron, sister of original MomTok star Mayci Neeley, is also joining. According to Hulu’s synopsis, the group will navigate tensions over faith, identity and change as they build their own answer to #MomTok.
The spinoff arrives at an uncertain moment for the show that started it all. Production on season 5 of the original series paused amid two domestic violence investigations involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen.

The fallout has continued to reshape the cast. After that season aired earlier this month, Mikayla Matthews said she was leaving after learning Paul had been invited back. Neeley and Layla Taylor have raised the possibility of stepping back after season 6, while Paul said she had no “desire to move forward.”
