Ciara Miller Says There’s One Type of Girl You Shouldn’t Be Friends With

In a new interview with Us Weekly, Ciara Miller reflected on everything that’s happened since her friendship with Amanda ended after Amanda started dating West Wilson—Ciara’s ex.

When asked about how the experience changed her, Ciara said she’s become much more selective about who she lets into her inner circle before adding:

“You can’t be friends with the insecure girl.”

She went on to explain that you can’t “breathe life into someone that doesn’t see it themselves,” which immediately caught my attention because, throughout Summer House, Ciara was often the one encouraging Amanda to find her voice, stand up for herself, and believe she deserved better in her marriage.

Looking back, that quote feels like more than a general life lesson—it feels like Ciara reflecting on her friendship with Amanda.

She also said the fallout strengthened her trust in her own instincts, explaining that her gut “did not fail” her and that she’s entering a new chapter with “real people” and “real friends” in her life.
