Ben Affleck Doesn’t Think He Could Make It as an Influencer, “What Am I Going to Do, Unbox Something?”

Ben Affleck talked about the unfortunate need for artists to have jobs other than art in order to make money. He used his exes Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez as examples, both have built empires through business ventures powered by their personal brands.

“Artists should be making money. You see it massively in the music business. People — either tacitly or explicitly — are expected to make money elsewhere,” he said.

Affleck praised Lopez and Garner for the work they’ve put into building a social media presence and turning it into business value and said he couldn’t do himself.

“Don’t think that’s not real work. I couldn’t do it. What am I going to do, unbox something?”
