Carrot Top Attempted Suicide Hours After His Manager Told Him a Story About His Alleged Sexual Misconduct Was Coming

Comedian Carrot Top attempted suicide on September 18, just hours after his manager warned him that an article containing sexual misconduct allegations was about to be published, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

Police found Carrot Top unconscious but breathing in the backyard by his pool at his Las Vegas home at 4:21 p.m. that day. The report says his manager had spoken with him earlier, warning him that the story was coming.

During that call, according to the report, Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, told his manager that his show would be over and that he hoped a third party and her daughter would be “okay without him.” After the call ended, the comedian texted his manager a single word: “Done.”

Unable to reach him after that message, the manager asked authorities to check on him at his home. Thompson was taken to a hospital, where TMZ reports he has remained.

The allegations surface amid a months-long court fight between Thompson and his former friend Brian Evans over an alleged explicit recording. Evans denies all allegations of wrongdoing.
