Kaia Gerber Writes Her Own Fan Fiction, Keeps It Private, and Says the Subject Is “Not A Human.”

The subject of Kaia Gerber’s fan fiction is “not a human,” and that’s about all she’ll say. She told Jake Shane on his Therapuss podcast that she writes it and keeps it to herself: “I write fan fiction and I don’t put it anywhere, I just like it.”

When “The Shards” costar Graham Campbell tried to ask more, Gerber told him it’s “not important” what kind she writes, then cut off his follow-up questions.

She’s been open about her reading for years. She launched her book club, Library Science, in 2020, and her 2026 picks include “Hamnet” by Maggie O’Farrell and “I Want To Show You More” by Jamie Quatro.
