Trump’s Great American State Fair Is Underway on the National Mall, and the Aerial Shots Show Mostly Empty Grass

Trump has said the Great American State Fair is “packed,” but recent aerial images of the National Mall show the big Ferris wheel and rows of state pavilions surrounded by mostly empty lawn and a handful of small clusters of visitors.

The fair opened June 25 and runs through July 10. Organizers are betting attendance climbs over the July 4th weekend, so the wide-open grass may not stay that way.
