Kelly Osbourne has never escaped public scrutiny about her appearance. When she first became well-known in the early 2000s, she was criticized for being overweight. Now that she’s lost weight, she is criticized for being too thin.
Yesterday, the reality star finally snapped back at commenter who said she “looks like a dead body.” The commenter also mentioned Kelly’s recently deceased father, Ozzy Osbourne, saying she “Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon.”
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Osbourne posted a photo of the comment saying, “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!” Many commenters also agreed with Kelly, telling the weight-shamers to back off.
Since her father passed in July, Kelly has been open about struggling with grief. Back in December she said, “I am ill right now… My life is completely flipped upside down. I don’t understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it’s not.”
She calls losing her father the hardest thing she has experienced in her life.
